1. No-Drill Adhesive Installation
Best for renters or fragile floors (tile, laminate).
Find the Contact Point: Open the door to your desired maximum angle. Place the doorstop on the floor so the rubber bumper hits the door roughly 1.5 to 2 inches from its outer edge. Mark this spot with a pencil.
Clean the Surface: Wipe the floor or wall area with rubbing alcohol. The adhesive will fail if there is any dust or wax.
Peel and Press: Remove the 3M film. Align the stop with your mark and press down firmly for 30–60 seconds.
Cure Time: Important! Do not use the doorstop for 24 hours. The adhesive needs a full day to reach maximum strength before it can handle the impact of a door.
2. Screw-In Installation
Best for heavy doors or high-traffic areas.
Disassemble: Most cylindrical stops unscrew. Twist the top metal "cap" or the main body counter-clockwise to reveal a base plate with a screw hole.
Mark and Drill: * Place the base plate on your mark.
For Wood: Drill a small pilot hole.
For Concrete/Tile: Use a masonry bit and insert a plastic wall anchor.
Secure Base: Drive the provided screw through the base plate into the floor or wall.
Reassemble: Screw the main cylindrical body back onto the fixed base plate until tight.

Vacuuming: If floor-mounted, be careful when vacuuming. Repeatedly hitting the metal base with a heavy vacuum cleaner head can eventually break the adhesive bond.
