The length of the lock cylinder is related to the thickness of the door. Generally, the length of the lock cylinder is 15-20mm longer than the thickness of the door. Of course, the appropriate length of the lock cylinder does not mean that the lock cylinder can be used. Doors are divided into inner and outer locks from the screw hole position of the lock cylinder. Normally, the thickness of the inner lock is narrower than that of the outer lock, but there are also special cases where the inner lock is wider than the outer lock.

The description of the size of the lock cylinder is from the screw hole of the lock cylinder to the shorter side. For example, if the thickness of the anti-theft door is 70mm, and the length from the screw of the lock cylinder to the inner surface of the door is 25mm, then the total length of the lock cylinder is 90mm. If the size from the middle screw hole to the shorter end is 32.5mm, then the size of the lock cylinder is 90 by 32.5. This way, if it is not convenient to remove the lock cylinder, you can also purchase a suitable lock cylinder according to this measurement method.
