1. Prepare the Door

Drill holes: If it's a new door, you will need a 20mm to 25mm hole through the door face for the spindle and a matching hole in the door edge for the latch.
Insert Latch: Install your mortice latch or lock into the door edge and screw the faceplate in so it sits flush.
2. Install the Lever Handles
Remove Cover Plates: Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pop the decorative oval cover plates (rosettes) off the inner mounting bases.
Insert Spindle: Slide the square metal spindle through the latch/lock mechanism in the door.
Align Bases: Place the lever handles onto the spindle on both sides of the door. Ensure the inner mounting bases are level.
Secure with Bolts: Use the "bolt-through" fixings (long screws) to connect the handle bases through the door. This prevents the handles from pulling off over time.
Tighten Grub Screws: Use the provided Allen key to tighten the small grub screw located on the underside of the handle neck. This locks the handle firmly to the spindle.
3. Install the Escutcheons (Keyhole Covers)
Align with Cylinder: Place the inner mounting base of the escutcheon over the keyhole or lock cylinder.
Fix to Door: Use small wood screws to secure the base plate to the door.

4. Final Testing
