Always keep lubricant in the transmission part of the lock body to keep its transmission smooth and prolong its service life. It is recommended to check once every six months or a year, and at the same time check whether the fastening screws are loose to ensure fastening.

During the use of the lock head, periodically (half a year or a year) or when the key is not inserted smoothly, you can put a little graphite powder or pencil powder in the lock cylinder groove to ensure the smooth insertion and removal of the key. However, do not add any other oil for lubrication, so as to prevent the grease from sticking to the pin spring, causing the lock head to fail to rotate and cannot be opened.

Frequently check the matching gap between the lock body and the strike plate, whether the height of the bolt and the strike plate hole is appropriate, and the best fit gap between the door and the door frame is 1.5mm-2.5mm. If any changes are found, adjust the position of the hinge or strike plate on the door. At the same time, pay attention to the cold shrinkage and thermal expansion caused by the weather (wet in spring and dry in winter) to ensure that the gap between the door and the door frame, the lock body and the strike plate is reasonable, so as to ensure the smooth use of the lock. During normal use, if there is dirt, it can be removed with a dry cloth, and do not scrub with chemicals such as detergent. Otherwise, it will damage the protective film of exposed parts and cause fading. Do not wipe the lock body and handle with a damp cloth, because some metal locks will rust; alloy locks will wear off the coating and lose their aesthetic effect. Some zinc alloy and copper locks will have "spots" after being installed on the door for a long time. This phenomenon is not rust, but oxidation. If this happens, just spray it with wax on the surface Spots can be removed.
