1.Prepare the Door: Ensure your door has the correct bore holes for a split rose system, which typically requires a center hole for the spindle and two smaller holes for the mounting bolts.
2.Insert the Spindle: Place the square spindle through the latch mechanism already installed in the door.
3.Mount the Lever Bases: Align the internal mounting plates (bases) on both sides of the door and secure them together by passing the connecting bolts through the door and tightening them.
4.Install the Rose Covers: Snap or screw the decorative round rose covers over the mounting bases to hide the screws and create a seamless look.
5.Secure the Levers: Slide the lever handles onto the spindle and tighten the small "grub screw" (set screw) on the neck of the handle using an Allen wrench to lock it firmly in place.
6. Attach Escutcheons: Repeat the process for the matching keyhole covers (escutcheons) below the handle to complete the set.
