1.Remove the Fixing Screw: Open the door and locate the long mounting screw on the edge of the door (the forend plate), which is aligned with the bottom of the lock cylinder. Unscrew and remove it completely.
2.Align the Cam: Insert your key into the old cylinder and turn it slightly (usually about 20 degrees) to align the internal black cam with the body of the cylinder so it can slide out.
3.Remove the Old Cylinder: Pull the old cylinder toward you from either side of the door.
