Precautions for installing door closer

Before installing the door closer, read the installation manual first. Install according to the steps and requirements of the door closer manual, and select the installation template or installation diagram provided by us according to the direction of the door opening. After installing the door closer, check whether the fixing screws are tight and there should be no looseness or looseness.

To facilitate the installation of the door closer, the door should be opened as wide as possible and the hinge arm of the door closer should be checked for any collision or friction with the door or frame. The speed and force settings of the door closer are usually set to normal when leaving the factory. If adjustment is needed, please adjust the speed control valve and closing force as required until satisfactory.

Attention must be paid to the installation of the door closer: the speed regulating valve must not exit (or be higher) from the main surface of the door closer to avoid the valve falling off under pressure, causing hydraulic oil to spray out, causing damage to the door closer and preventing its normal use. After installing the new door closer for about 7 to 10 days, the screws should be tightened again. If possible, please ask professional installation personnel for installation.
